Additional Requirements

• Age 21 to 40 years

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, preferably in the steel industry or related fields.
• Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical maintenance processes and operations.
• Must be proficient in spoken and written English to effectively communicate within a multicultural team environment.
• Ability to work flexibly in shifts and adapt to changing work schedules.

Responsibilities & Context

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all mechanical equipment within the steel manufacturing plant.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

• Work closely with the production team to improve machine reliability and performance.

• Participate in the installation of new mechanical systems and equipment.

• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.

• Document and record maintenance and repair work for future reference.
