Additional Requirements

• Age 25 to 40 years

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in erection and wire stringing of Extra High Voltage (220kV, 380kV, or above) transmission lines.
• Proven experience in working with steel lattice towers and EHV conductor systems.
• Ability to work at heights and in varying site conditions.
• Basic understanding of safe lifting practices and rigging techniques.
• Certification in Work at Height or related safety training is an advantage.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment used in OHTL construction.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities & Context

• Perform erection of steel lattice towers and poles for Extra High Voltage (EHV) transmission lines (up to 380kV and above).
• Execute conductor stringing, sagging, and clipping works, ensuring proper tension and clearances as per engineering standards.
• Assist in installation of insulators, spacers, dampers, and other line accessories.
• Conduct inspection of tools, equipment, and rigging gear prior to use to ensure safety compliance.
• Follow all safety protocols, especially for working at heights and in energized environments.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and line profiles accurately.
• Coordinate with ground crews and equipment operators to ensure smooth and safe lifting and stringing operations.
• Report daily progress, challenges, and safety observations to the site supervisor.
• Support in pre-commissioning checks and testing of completed line sections.
• Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks regularly.
