I&C engineers are responsible for the complete lifecycle of instrumentation and control systems, which involves: · Design: Developing the technical specifications and plans for the system, ensuring it meets project requirements. · Implementation: Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of the instrumentation and control equipment. · Maintenance: Establishing and maintaining the system to ensure optimal performance and reliability, troubleshooting malfunctions. Quality control engineer ( Electrical and I&C)· Cable Laying and Identification: Checks cable laying and cable identification according to project specifications. · Loop Checks: Performs loop checks to ensure proper electrical connections and functionality. · Instrument Installation: Checks the installation and calibration of instruments and controls. · Functional Instrument Testing: Performs functional tests on instruments and control systems. · System Testing: Conducts various tests, such as electrical performance tests, safety tests, and environmental tests. · Equipment Inspection: Performs visual inspections and dimensional tests on electrical equipment and components. · Testing of Continuity and Insulation Resistance: Performs tests of continuity, insulation resistance, and other electrical parameters.
A site supervisor oversees day-to-day construction operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, by managing teams, coordinating tasks, and adhering to regulations.
