Responsibilities & Context
1. Plan, prepare and execute effective lesson plans in classroom teaching.
2. Providing strategic academic leadership of the department, taking responsibility for its continual enhancement and ensuring that the department achieves the highest standards of excellence in all areas including teaching, learning and the student experience. Be accountable for the performance management and wellbeing of academic members within the department to ensure consistent high performance across the department.
3. Work with the Academic Coordinators of Cl-5 to 8 and Cl-9 to 12, to ensure an integrated approach to the development and delivery of the school’s vision and strategy. Liaison with VP, Principal and Admin Coordinators for overall Administrative Management.
4. Ensure clear and measurable targets are set within the department for performance in all areas of activity, and that measures and incentives are used to drive improved performance and outcomes.
5. Foster a departmental environment which ensures the health, safety and wellbeing of both staff and students. Initiating school’s branding/ marketing promotions.
