Responsibilities & Context
As the Manager, Business Development, you will be responsible for driving strategic business growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and managing key business development initiatives. You will lead efforts in market research, client outreach, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure alignment with the organization’s objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of business development executives, setting performance goals, conducting regular evaluations, and providing ongoing training and development.
Provide leadership and direction to ensure the team meets or exceeds lead generation and sales targets.
Foster a collaborative and performance-driven environment, encouraging team members to contribute ideas and solutions.
Identify and target potential clients through market research, networking, and outreach strategies.
Develop and implement strategic plans to generate leads through multiple channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media.
Build and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing clients to identify their needs and offer tailored solutions.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process, ensuring consistent communication and exceptional client experience.
Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement business development strategies aligned with company objectives.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competition, and opportunities for growth.
Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes to keep the company ahead of the curve.
Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, etc.) to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to clients.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute business development strategies and achieve targets.
Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations, proposals, and contracts tailored to client requirements.
Negotiate terms and close business deals that contribute to long-term business growth.
Track and report key performance metrics, including lead generation, sales pipeline, and deal closures.
Provide regular updates to management on business development activities, opportunities, and challenges.
Assist in leading and mentoring the Business Development team, providing guidance, training, and support to junior team members.
Foster a collaborative and performance-driven culture within the team.
Identify and explore new market opportunities to expand the company’s footprint both domestically and internationally.
Initiate and oversee business expansion strategies, including partnerships and collaborations.
