Responsibilities & Context
This position will be responsible for overseeing payroll processing, compensation and benefits administration, reward and remuneration strategies for employees across the company. The incumbent will ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement while maintaining compliance with labor laws, tax regulations and company policies.
Payroll Management:
Oversee end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate salary payments.
Verify employee attendance, overtime, leaves and deductions for payroll calculations.
Ensure compliance with tax laws, labor regulations and company policies related to payroll.
Maintain payroll records and generate periodic reports for management.
Assist in payroll audits and resolve discrepancies or errors.
Compensation & Benefits:
Administer employee compensation structures, including salary adjustments, increments and bonuses.
Manage employee benefits programs such as health insurance, provident funds, gratuity, and other statutory benefits.
Ensure proper deductions and contributions for employee benefits and statutory requirements.
Monitor market trends to recommend competitive compensation strategies.
Rewards & Remuneration:
Assist in designing and implementing incentive programs for employees.
Support performance-based reward distribution and salary increment processes.
Maintain records of employee rewards, bonuses and other recognition programs.
